Hi, I’m Nik. I was born in a small town in Oregon, and moved to Central Florida in 2022. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest instilled in me a deep love of nature and appreciation for it's beauty. I believe that's part of why I've become so fond of photography.
Over the years people have become my favorite subject. I love to shoot photos that make someone say "Wow! Is that really me?" My goal is to capture the essence of a person to the best of my ability.
Experience
I’ve been behind the lens for about 10 years now. In 2016 I bought my first "real" camera, a Canon EOS M50. From that point on I spent a lot of my time as the "designated photographer friend", taking portraits for family, friends, & colleagues whenever I was needed.
Last year I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of two of my closest friends. It inspired me to start Darkroom Sorcery with my now fiancé.

Many consider a wedding to be the most important day of one's life. Whether that’s true or not, it is a significant milestone in any couple's relationship, and a day that you make a promise of lifelong commitment to the one you love.

Hello, I'm Sage! I was born in Slidell, Louisiana, right next to New Orleans. I believe that growing up in a culturally rich environment fostered a need to create and capture the awe-inspiring moments that surrounded me. I love experimenting with colors and lighting, as well as incorporating the environment to tell a story.
In 2022 I moved to Central Florida to be closer to family. Since meeting the love of my life, my passion for documenting special moments has only grown.

To me a wedding can be one of the most magical events to witness and to participate in: a celebration of your love and a promise of your future together.
Knowing I've played a role in creating something beautiful for people to look back on years from now fills me with joy. I love to be a part of those sacred moments and I am so honored by those who have given us the opportunity to be apart of their story.
